Giovanni Francesco Caroto (b. 1488, Verona, d. after 1562, Verona) was trained by Liberale da Verona. In 1507 he visited Milan and fell under the influence of Leonardo, after which he executed the
Tobias and Three Archangels (b/w) (Verona, Castelvecchio) for S. Eufemia in his native Verona.
Marco d'Oggiono was another Lombard painter, influenced by Leonardo, working at the same time.
