Gentile Bellini - related images
Bellini included a portrait of Bessarion in a canvas depicting Venetian ceremonial which he painted for the Grand Council chamber in the Doge's Palace in Venice. The painting was later destroyed by fire. (Fortini Brown, Venetian Narrative Painting in the Age of Carpaccio.)
